Mozambique's main attraction is it's tropical beaches and warm waters. The civil war in Mozambique has drastically reduced the once prolific herds of wildlife in its national parks and reserves.

With stiff competition form countries such as Tanzania and Botswana who are known for their exceptional National Parks and sheer volume of game, Mozambique has a troubled time to establishing a quality safari circuit.

The Niassa Reserve which lies on the Mozambique-Tanzania border, just south of the Rovuma river is where the countries highest concentration of game congregates. This is Mozambique’s best park by far.
